Australia Landscape Map History:
In the 19th century Camels were introduced to Australia to help the immigrants to carry the luggage and the people through the dessert.
The first Camel arrived in Australia in 1840 to help the discoverer
Edward John Eyre to Western Australia.
In 1870 many Camels were used to transport materials for building
the Overland Telegraph Line and also in 1879 to build the railway The Ghan.

Imperial Camel corps:
In the first world war, many feminine Camels were used to transport guns.
The troops of Camels were called Imperial Camel Corps and they were deployed in Palestine.
1919 the Imperial Camel Corps were disbanded.

Camel Plague:
In 2019 were news around the world about the Australian camels because there were a camel plague.
It was a bit surprising for some people, cause not everybody was known about that in Australia lived camels.
